4th WEIGH-IN RESULTS
I lost a pound....woohoo! However, to get to my 5 pound loss, I had to lose 1.6 - so it didn't happen! Disappointing, but whatever :)
I'm a bit miffed though... because I've weighed myself on my own scale before going to each weigh in (wearing the same clothes) and each time, their scale has been different from mine, and by different amounts! The first time, theirs was lower by 2.2, the second time it was lower by .8 and this time it was lower by .6. Now, I know that some of this can be explained by the fact that my scale only goes by .5 increments, but I'm finding I'm feeling a bit put off by the inconsistency. However, I know that I could easily prevent this by (a) NOT weighing myself before I go, and (b) just relaxing because at least it's always been consistently lower!
Hope everyone has a great week!

Congratulations on your loss! That is awesome! Again, I share this issue... My scale differs from WW by varying amounts each week also... It makes it tough on OCD girls doesnt' it?
Oh, and by the way- when I am this close to a goal, I tend to start stripping down on the scale- so what if everyone at my WW meetings has seen me half naked!
oh my...I sooo could have wrote that myself. I have the exact same problem. I weigh myself at home. I write down my weight and then weigh in at WW. I come home and compare the difference. Then the following week I feel like I have some sort of gauge at how they will differ in weight that week, but NOOOOOO, it's never the same...it's frustrating for sure, but lke you said...we just need to relax because at least it is always a lower number we see at the WW scale!
each ounce counts.. so be happy about the end result always.. and weighing before you go weigh.. might kinda be a bit of a sabatoge to your motivation.. stay away from the scale until weigh day and do it on the WW that you are paying for... if you want to weigh more than once a week .. do it in the middle of your week...
Congratulations on your loss, you'll get your 5 lbs next week!!!

Congratulations on that loss! I also do that comparative weigh-ins and they are never consistent either. So I just write down my home WI on my Quiktrak (sadly every day) and compare week to week that way. And my WW WI, I compare to the previous week. Again not consistent but at least it doesn't bother me anymore.
Enjoy your success! You're doing great! :)
Slow and steady weight loss is what is best. I too am new to this journey. Best of luck reaching your weight loss goals!
